ShortLoad

Terms of Service

Plain-English terms for using ShortLoad. If anything here is unclear, email us before you book.

What ShortLoad is

ShortLoad is a marketplace that connects people who need small concrete loads (typically 1–4+ cubic yards) with independent, licensed and insured local operators who mix and pour on-site. ShortLoad is not the concrete operator: the pour itself is performed by the local operator, under their license and insurance.

Prices: typical, estimated and confirmed

Ranges shown as “typical” are reference pricing for an area, not an offer. Prices marked “estimated” come from operators we have not yet signed and can change. A price is binding only once we confirm it to you directly for your ZIP, mix and yardage — that confirmed price is all-in, with no short-load fee.

Metered delivery means you pay for the yards actually discharged, rounded to the nearest quarter yard, with a 1-yard minimum. Your forms decide the final bill, not the estimate.

Waitlist areas

Where no local operator is live yet, submitting the form places you on a priority list. That costs nothing and commits you to nothing: we send typical pricing by email and contact you when your area opens. Being on the list does not guarantee service or a date.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for site access, forms and finishing arrangements, and any permits your project requires. Concrete is perishable — once mixed and poured it cannot be returned, so returns are not possible; if something goes wrong with a delivery, contact us and we will work it out with the operator.

The legal part

This site and its content are provided “as is” without warranties. To the extent permitted by Florida law, ShortLoad’s liability related to the use of this site is limited to the amount you paid through it. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA.
